By using any service provided by States to Yaad, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.
States to Yaad provides courier and logistics services including but not limited to:
Shipping services from the USA to Jamaica
Package handling, warehousing, and logistics coordination
Purchasing assistance for customers without online payment access
Customer rewards and loyalty shopping points program
Local delivery within Montego Bay and Falmouth
Islandwide delivery via Knutsford Express courier services
States to Yaad reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.
Shipping schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier schedules, inspections, weather conditions, operational factors, or circumstances beyond our control.
States to Yaad currently provides:
Delivery within Montego Bay
Delivery within Falmouth
Islandwide delivery through Knutsford Express (customer responsible for Knutsford courier fees)
Delivery options may change based on operational requirements.
All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.
States to Yaad assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors related to shipments.
Responsibility begins once a package reaches our warehouse or is received by our team and ends when the package is delivered, collected, or handed to a third-party courier.
States to Yaad is not responsible for:
Vendor or supplier errors
Incorrect shipping information provided by customers
Packages lost before reaching our possession
Delays, losses, or damages caused by third-party carriers
States to Yaad is not responsible for damage caused by insufficient or improper packaging by vendors, senders, or customers.
Fragile items including electronics, glassware, liquids, cosmetics, or breakable goods are shipped entirely at the owner’s risk regardless of packaging method.
Customers must ensure all shipments comply with Jamaican laws and international shipping regulations.
Prohibited items include but are not limited to:
Illegal drugs or controlled substances
Firearms, ammunition, or weapons
Explosives, flammable, or hazardous materials
Counterfeit goods
Pornographic or obscene materials
Perishable foods without approval
Live animals
Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments
Prohibited items may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund. States to Yaad assumes no liability for seizures, fines, or penalties.
Customers are responsible for all customs declarations, duties, taxes, clearance charges, and government fees where applicable.
States to Yaad assumes no liability for customs delays, inspections, or seizures.
For purchasing assistance:
Full payment must be provided before purchases are made
Customers must confirm product details prior to purchase
Payments are generally non-refundable once items are purchased
States to Yaad is not responsible for vendor delays, cancellations, incorrect items, sizing issues, or product quality
Refunds or exchanges must be handled directly with the vendor.
States to Yaad offers customer rewards and shopping points based on service usage.
Points:
Accumulate with qualifying transactions
May be redeemed toward future services or promotions
May expire or change at company discretion
Reward programs may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Accepted payment methods may include cash, bank transfer, or approved digital payment options.
All payments must be settled before package release or delivery unless otherwise agreed. Payments are generally non-refundable once services are rendered.
Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery or notification.
Supporting documentation such as receipts, invoices, or photos may be required.
Informal messages through social media or messaging platforms do not constitute official claims unless acknowledged by the company.
Packages not collected within a reasonable timeframe after notification may incur storage fees.
Uncollected packages may be returned, disposed of, or otherwise handled to recover storage costs. Customers remain responsible for outstanding balances.
Cancellations should be requested prior to scheduled service where applicable. Fees may apply depending on service preparation already completed.
States to Yaad reserves the right to cancel services when necessary.
States to Yaad reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between States to Yaad and its customers regarding services provided.
